Navigating through bustling crowds amid inclement weather posed a typical challenge for fans attending outdoor events. Yet, nothing could deter the Ginger Candies from demonstrating their steadfast devotion to Keung To whenever possible.
Keung To has often mentioned that his fans provide him with a profound sense of reassurance. Despite his shy demeanor, whenever he attends public events, he instinctively searches for their distinctive LED signs, known as “Ginger 姜 signs ,” among the crowd.

For Ginger Candies, love isn’t just expressed in words—it’s woven into their actions. Their glowing LED signboards, shimmering like stars in the crowd, are more than just symbols of support.
To Keung, they are a beacon of safety and reassurance - a reminder that no matter how harsh the world outside may be, he will always have a family standing by his side. “Rain or shine, we’ll be there,” they say, and they mean it with every fiber of their being.

Embracing Keung To’s philosophy in both life and work, Ginger Candies are a true reflection of their idol. They dedicate themselves to offering unwavering support while ensuring they never overshadow his patrons.

Amidst howling wind and drizzling rain, fans braced themselves for the long wait ahead. Knowing Keung To’s arrival was still hours away, they took refuge in a nearby restaurant, finding warmth in both the meal and each other’s company.
There was a certain joy in introducing Keung To to the locals, sharing stories of his journey and charm. And every so often came a delightful surprise—a stranger at the next table nodding in recognition, already knowing exactly who they were talking about.
By 3 PM, a legion of KT fans started gathering at the venue, carefully positioning themselves to ensure Keung To would feel their presence.

From the moment he stepped out of the car, to walking through the venue, and finally making his grand entrance, they diligently recorded every frame - each interaction, each fleeting glance—preserving his presence from multiple perspectives.
A Message from Keung To
Those who know Keung To well understand that he treats his fans like family. So it was no surprise—yet still deeply touching—that despite a long day of work, he took a moment, just two hours before his arrival, to send an Instagram story, warmly greeting the devoted fans who had been waiting for hours.

At 8:39 PM, Keung To arrived. The Ginger Candies waiting by the parking area were the first to cheer, promptly signaling the front-row fans to get ready.
From the moment Keung To stepped out of the car to the 1 minute and 51 seconds it took him to walk to the venue entrance, his presence ignited an indescribable excitement among Ginger Candies, stirring a whirlwind of emotions in their hearts.
Beyond the overwhelming joy of his fans, Keung To’s natural star power, charisma, and warmth captivated both local and international audiences, as well as the media present. Watching the footage, it was clear that amidst the waves of cheers, voices from foreign onlookers could also be heard calling out his name.

A Heartfelt Farewell
Hours later, Keung To reappeared once again. As he left the venue, he walked toward the crowd, his clear, bright eyes scanning and recording the faces of every supporter present.
Knowing that fans had waited for hours just to catch a glimpse of him, he made a conscious effort to linger a little longer.
True to his promise, he interacted with fans and signed autographs, creating heartfelt moments that deeply moved everyone in attendance.

It was truly a night to remember. Whether it was Keung To’s attending a major international fashion week as an independent artist and honored guest, or the excitement of international fans seeing him in person for the very first time, the evening was filled with unforgettable moments.

PS: The Sun That Always Shines
Though the night was swept by strong winds, the rain never fell during the event - a testament to our Sunny Doll / Child of the Sun living up to his name.
Several fan support events have taken place under harsh weather conditions or on rainy days, but none were as memorable as Keung To’s Birthday Carnival at Hong Kong’s Ocean Park on April 23, 2024.
That day, a yellow rainstorm warning was in effect, and 7,000 fans braved the torrential rain to attend.
However, just before Keung To made his surprise appearance in the afternoon, the sun suddenly broke through the clouds.
Because of this, Ginger Candies affectionately call him the “Child of the Sun” or “Sunny Doll” (Teru Teru Bōzu)amongst many other names.
